The Best of J. Crew November 2023

I very well may be J. Crew’s #1 fan. Between the chic styles, timely colors, and classic shapes, I can never help but to pop in to browse whenever passing the store. Their new fall and winter styles were too freaking good so I, of course, needed to stop in the other day to try them on for my self. Surprise to none, I was just as impressed as I excepted to be. Let’s break down some of my favorite pieces …

I have been trying to incorporate more navy into my wardrobe since it is such a classic color and a great elevated alternative to black. This cardigan immediately caught my eye. I loved the white accents and gold buttons and thought it was the perfect light sweater. It was light enough for layering and the style is appropriate for both the fall and spring!

If the navy doesn’t strike your fancy and you’re looking for a bit less color, they alway had the sweater in a white and black version. This version seemed a bit easier to style since it would look great with jeans or black bottoms which is great to keep in mind when deciding on color.

Jackie-O is that you? This dress is the perfect example of professionalism and class. The style is flattering and modest but also incorporates a sense of timelessness. I love this dress with a pair of fun Mary Janes for the office!

The lady jacket: we know her, we worship her, and we love her many many colors and variations. This sweater version with crocheted trim is so lovely. The winter white is so chic and the perfect way to incorporate lighter colors into our winter wardrobes. I love versatility the hook and eye closures add to wear the jacket opened or closed.

We have all heard that red is the color of the season so it can’t be a surprise that I loved this red silk dress for the holidays. It would look so lovely for a holiday party, Christmas Eve, or New Years. You know i’m a sucker for gold buttons and these felt so luxe and very stable on the garment.

If you’re looking for a bit more shimmer for the holidays, this silver, glitter turtleneck is for you. The fabric was super comfortable and not at all itchy on my skin, and trust me I am so sensitive to bad fabrics. It would look so nice with a silk skirt or worn casually with jeans to add a little bit of sheen to your everyday outfits!

I saved the best for last and threw in a two-for-one here. I loved both the sweater and skirt and thought they made such a nice pair together. The sweater was incredibly soft (I wish you could feel it through the screen) and the silkiness of the skirt added a lot of textural fun to the outfit. I also loved the length of the skirt. We see so many satin skirts at a midi length so it was really refreshing to see a full length skirt in the style! Bonus points that it had two slips on the side to help with movement and fit!
